    The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting CAD Data management tools for a variety of companies in a consultative role.  Tools include PTC’s Windchill suite of products and data management tools. The Consultant will be expected to assist customers in their engineering data management planning, installation, configuration, migration and or product updates.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities, skills, and knowledge may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position.

    • Following the established project plan and Statement of Work (SOW), deliver and manage implementations of PTC data management tools, Windchill suite of products, within time and budget constraints.
    • Install and configure, rehost and upgrade Windchill tools including 3rd party software as applicable to client solutions.
    • Documents designs, use cases, customizations, case studies and configuration changes
    • Maintain open and clear communication with clients during the design process to meet all design goals
    • Provide service and customer support (mentoring) to clients including altering workflows, change management, contents, configurations, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned as company needs dictate.

    Qualifications

    An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, MIS, Engineering)
    • 2-3 years’ experience managing product information or components of products with PTC tools
    • 1-2 years system administrator experience (CAD, IT, Data Management)
    • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Must possess good organizational and time-management skills.
    • Must have ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines and meet the project and corporate goals.
    • Must understand Product Lifestyle Management Business Processes.
    • Ability to work in stressful situations and multi-task.
    • Must have experience with Windchill programs in the installation, configuration, and migration to customer requirements.
    • Experience with Change Management (process analysis, design, and configuration with PDMLink) preferred.
    • Experience with Windchill Foundation, BOM / Configuration Management, MPMLink, ERP Connector and ESI preferred.
    • Java, SQL, and Rest skills preferred.
    • Must be able to work independently with focus and discipline to achieve the customer and company goals.
    • Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output.
